COE (Coordinación de Organizaciones Estudiantiles) is a space inside Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, where all student societies do important decisions for the improvement of its own careers, as well as fairs and events for the University.

The interior concept was conceived by three principles, to give a young, warm and unique space for the comfort of students and teachers. In order to accomplish this, we used diverse materials, such as OSB for the roof. Nowadays OSB is a trendy material thanks to its properties and sustainability.

The roof is designed to give the space more amplitude and direction whenever you walk in. We play with the lightning accommodation in order to give a sense of asymmetry. The furniture is designed with natural oak wood and metal tube; as you walk through the space you can see that these elements repeat such in the bookshelves and lockers.

The furniture idea was to give a young language and a simple way to understand a desk.

The color palette was thought to give a nice transition between students, the characteristic red bricks from the university and the roof, so at the end you were able to see many textures inside, so we tried to attenuate the space with some darker colors combined with Herman Miller furniture and Acapulco chairs.
