White Corian by Dupont / Oak hardwood / Steel
La Cocineta is a project that seeks to retake Mexican traditions, as it is the different approaches inside the kitchen, like important decisions, new flavors discoveries, discussions etc.
Nowadays all modern kitchens are cold, with monochromatic tones and always hiding the beautiful colors the food or other elements can offer. The design was conceived with no doors because it seeks to show the beautiful colors of vegetables or fruits.
La Cocineta bring nine independent modules, each one with a specific function that interacts with the user in a fun way.
All modules are personalized so you can choose from different hardwoods such as oak, Alamo or bamboo for the structure. The number of drawers could be as many as you want and the nodes color allows you to personalize your own kitchen.
Finally it comes with tires so it can move freely inside your home and give some movement to your kitchen.
La Cocineta has awarded as the best furniture project at Universidad Iberoamericana. Thanks to this achievement, La Cocineta has been exhibited at Expo Habitat 2014 in Mexico City and Abierto Mexicano de Diseño 2015
